Log Cake
INGREDIENTS:
MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE:
125g – Cake Flour
125g Refined Sugar
1g Iodized Salt
2.5g Double Star Baker Baking Powder
10g S-Mix Cake Emulsifier
200g Whole Eggs
25g Water
30g Oil
15g Favorite Flavocol Chocolate
125g Refined Sugar
1g Iodized Salt
2.5g Double Star Baker Baking Powder
10g S-Mix Cake Emulsifier
200g Whole Eggs
25g Water
30g Oil
15g Favorite Flavocol Chocolate
PROCEDURE:
- Combine all ingredients except oil and beat at low speed to moisten the mixture.
- Turn the mixer at high speed for 5 minutes until mixture becomes fluffy, turn at low speed.
- Add gradually the oil, fold it until well incorporated.
- Deposit onto paper lined rectangular pan (13in x 18in) and bake at 185°C/370°F.
- Baking time: 8-12 minutes
- Deposit into prepared pan and bake for 15-18 minutes. Let it cool before frosting.
BUTTER CREAM ICING:
250g Butter Dreams Margarine
50g Fresh Milk
50g Schokobella Dark
250g – Bianka MB Buttercream Base
50g Fresh Milk
50g Schokobella Dark
250g – Bianka MB Buttercream Base
PROCEDURE:
- Cream Bianka MB and Butter Dreams Margarine.
- Gradually add fresh milk, beat until light and fluffy.
- Add Schokobella until well incorporated.
